Quick Start Guide
Welcome to Kenso! This guide will walk you through going from purchase to a live store in just 15 minutes.
Overview
Here's what you'll do:
- Access your Customer Portal
- Download your theme
- Install the theme in Shopify
- Activate your license
- Customize and launch
Let's get started!
Step 1: Access Your Customer Portal
After your purchase, you should have been redirected to create a password. If you already did this:
- Go to scaled.info/theme/portal
- Log in with your email and password
Didn't create a password? No problem - go to scaled.info/theme/login and use "Forgot Password" with your purchase email.
Step 2: Download Your Theme
Once logged in to the portal:
- You'll see your license(s) listed
- Click the "Download Theme" button
- A ZIP file will download to your computer
Important: Keep this ZIP file - you'll upload it to Shopify in the next step.
Step 3: Install in Shopify
Now let's add Kenso to your Shopify store:
- Log in to your Shopify Admin (yourstore.myshopify.com/admin)
- Go to Online Store → Themes
- Click "Add theme" → "Upload zip file"
- Select the Kenso ZIP file you downloaded
- Wait for the upload to complete
Your theme will appear in the "Theme library" section.
Step 4: Activate Your License
This is the most important step! Your theme won't work without activating your license.
- In Shopify, click "Customize" on your Kenso theme
- Click "Theme settings" (gear icon at bottom left)
- Find the "License" section
- Enter your License Key (from the portal)
- Click Save
The theme will validate your license and unlock all features.
Step 5: Customize and Launch
Now the fun part! In the theme editor:
- Set your brand colors in Theme Settings
- Upload your logo
- Add your products to the product grids
- Configure the AI chatbot with your selling points
- Set up urgency elements (optional)
When you're ready:
- Go back to Online Store → Themes
- Click "Publish" on your Kenso theme
