Colors & Branding Setup
Make Kenso your own by customizing colors, adding your logo, and setting up your brand identity.
Accessing Theme Settings
- Go to Shopify Admin → Online Store → Themes
- Click "Customize" on your Kenso theme
- Click the gear icon (⚙️) at bottom left for "Theme settings"
Color Settings
Kenso uses a consistent color system throughout the theme. Here are the main colors you can customize:
Primary Accent Color
This is your main brand color, used for:
- Buttons
- Links
- Highlights
- Call-to-action elements
Default: Purple (#944aff)
Secondary Accent Color
A complementary color used for:
- Gradient effects
- Hover states
- Secondary elements
Default: Pink (#ec4899)
Background Color
The main background of your store.
Default: Black (#000000) - designed for the dark theme aesthetic
Text Color
Primary text color.
Default: White (#ffffff)
Muted Text Color
Secondary/less important text.
Default: Gray (#9ca3af)
Card Background
Background for cards and elevated elements.
Default: Near-black (#111111)
Border Color
Used for borders and dividers.
Default: Dark gray (#333333)
Color Recommendations
For Dark Theme (Default)
Keep the dark background and use bright accent colors:
- Background: #000000 or #0a0a0a
- Text: #ffffff
- Accents: Bright, saturated colors work best
For Light Theme (Custom)
You can create a light theme:
- Background: #ffffff or #f8f8f8
- Text: #111111
- Adjust card and border colors accordingly
Branding Settings
Brand Name
Your store name displayed in the header and footer.
Logo
Upload your logo image:
- Recommended size: 200-400px wide
- PNG with transparent background works best
- Keep file size under 500KB for fast loading
Influencer Photo
Optional photo shown in the hero section or chat widget. This can be:
- Your photo
- A brand mascot
- A product image
Social Links
Connect your social media profiles:
- Instagram URL: Full URL to your profile
- TikTok URL: Full URL to your profile
- Discord URL: Invite link for support/community
These appear in your footer and can be used by the chatbot.
Tips for Best Results
- Consistency: Use 2-3 colors maximum for a clean look
- Contrast: Ensure text is readable against backgrounds
- Testing: Preview on mobile to check colors work on smaller screens
- Brand match: Use your existing brand colors if you have them
