Common Issues

Upload Failed

If the upload fails:

  • Make sure the file is the original ZIP (not unzipped)
  • Check that the file isn't corrupted (try re-downloading)
  • Ensure you have a stable internet connection

Theme Not Appearing

If the theme doesn't show up after upload:

  • Refresh the page
  • Check that the upload completed (no error messages)
  • Try uploading again

"Theme can't be uploaded" Error

This usually means:

  • The ZIP file is corrupted - download it again
  • The file was modified after download - use the original
  • Shopify is having issues - wait a few minutes and try again

Updating Your Theme

When we release updates, you'll need to:

  1. Download the new version from the portal
  2. Upload it as a new theme (don't overwrite your current one)
  3. Customize the new version
  4. Publish when ready

This ensures you can always roll back if needed.
