AI Chatbot Setup
The Kenso AI chatbot helps you sell 24/7 by answering customer questions automatically. Here's how to set it up effectively.
Enabling the Chatbot
- Go to Theme Settings (gear icon in editor)
- Find the "Chatbot" section
- Toggle "Enable chatbot" to ON
- Click Save
Chatbot Settings
Chatbot Name
Give your chatbot a name that fits your brand:
- "Sales Assistant"
- "Support Bot"
- Your brand name + "Helper"
- A custom name like "Alex" or "Sam"
Custom Context
This is the most important setting! Tell the chatbot about:
Your products:
- What do you sell?
- What's included in each product?
- How do customers receive their purchase?
Your guarantees:
- Do you offer support?
- What's your refund policy?
- Any satisfaction guarantees?
Common questions:
- Shipping/delivery time
- How to use the products
- Why customers should trust you
Example context:
We sell premium vendor lists for resellers. Each list includes 10+ verified
vendors with contact info and pricing. Customers receive instant access via email after purchase. We offer 24/7 support and a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. Our vendors are personally verified and updated monthly.
Key Selling Points
Add bullet points the chatbot can emphasize:
- "Instant digital delivery"
- "30+ premium vendors included"
- "Money-back guarantee"
- "24/7 customer support"
- "Trusted by 1000+ resellers"
Chatbot Position
Choose where the chat widget appears:
- Bottom right (default, recommended)
- Bottom left
Most websites use bottom-right, so customers expect it there.
How the Chatbot Works
The chatbot uses AI to:
- Greet visitors with a customizable welcome message
- Answer questions based on the context you provide
- Handle objections about pricing, trust, etc.
- Guide to purchase by highlighting benefits
- Provide support for common issues
Tips for Better Results
Be Specific in Context
ā Vague: "We sell good products" ā Specific: "We sell vendor lists with 30+ verified suppliers including Nike, Adidas, and Supreme. Each vendor is personally tested."
Include Pricing Info
The chatbot can answer pricing questions if you include:
- Product prices
- What's included at each tier
- Any current promotions
Address Common Objections
Include answers to:
- "Is this legit?"
- "Why should I trust you?"
- "What if it doesn't work?"
Update Regularly
When you:
- Change prices
- Add products
- Update policies

Testing Your Chatbot
- Save your settings
- Preview your store
- Open the chat widget
- Ask common questions
- Refine your context based on responses
Chatbot Not Appearing?
Check:
- Is it enabled in settings?
- Did you save after enabling?
- Is your license activated?
- Try clearing browser cache
